Umpire Registration Guide
DecideThere are four types of umpires at the tournament. Decide which you are registering for:
- Super Division Umpire: Super Division Umpires are required to have a minimum Level III / National USA rating or the equivalent in their own countries. They are not allowed to participate as players or coaches of any team in the tournament.
- Designated Umpire: A team-provided umpire which enables teams to be eligible for a refund of their umpiring deposit. All Competitive, Mixed Social, Under 19 and Under 16 teams should provide a designated umpire so they can receive the refund.
- Dedicated Umpire: Dedicated Umpires are registered USFHA umpires (or its equivalent overseas) that are not affiliated with any team as a player, coach, or designated umpire and commit to officiating a minimum of 4 matches each day. Dedicated Umpires residing over 100 miles from the tournament site qualify for free accommodations in addition to receiving $25.00 per match officiated.
- Volunteer Umpire: Any qualified persons, such as players, spectators or parents, that want to officiate during the tournament.
