Registration
Q: I need a player or need a team. What do I do?
A: Please visit our Need a Team / Need a Player page.
Q: Can I make changes to the roster after I have registered online?
A: Yes. You can make changes to the roster until 5/11 by submitting a revised online registration. After 5/11, you can make changes during Registration Night.
Q: Do we have another payment option instead of sending a check?
A: You can do a wire transfer. Please contact our Administration Director for wiring instructions.
Q: How many games does a team's designated umpire need to officiate in order for a team to receive a refund of their umpire deposit fee of $400?
A: All umpires have to officiate all games assigned to him/her (2-3 games a day) and attend the mandatory umpires meeting on Friday evening at the Hyatt Hotel in order to qualify for a full refund
of your umpiring deposit. Please also see the Umpire Deposit Refund Requirements for more information.
Q: Will the umpires deposit of $400 be returned in cash or check?
A: All teams whose umpires have met the criteria for the refund will be sent refund checks within 2-4 weeks after the tournament has concluded.
Q: What is the minimum age for an umpire to officiate adult matches?
A: There is no minimum age, except that the umpire has to be qualified to officiate adult matches; otherwise, a junior umpire can officiate junior matches.
Q: How will I know if my team has been accepted?
A: Your team's manager will receive a confirmation via email. Please allow sufficient time (at least 2 weeks) for us to process your registration and for your check to clear.
Q: What is the maximum number of players for each team?
A: Please see the Division Information page. If your team has more players than allowed, please go to the Need a Team/Player page
so they can find a team. No teams will be permitted to register with more players than allowed.
Q: Is there a registration form I can download and mail in like in previous tournaments?
A: No. Teams must register online for all divisions.
Foreign Teams
Q: Do foreign nationals on a domestic team need to have USFHA Numbers?
A: They do not. They will have to show their passport upon request.
Q: Do foreign players need proof of liability?
A: No, however, each player has to sign the "Foreign Players Waiver" before their team first match. Please see the Team Registration Guide.
Q: Are Canadians required to have a visa to enter this Tournament?
A: As indicated by Homeland Security, if Canadians come for just a weekend, they do not need a
visa to enter the U.S. Please check to ensure that this policy has not been revised or changed.
Youth/Minor Divisions
Q: Does the Under 8 division have short corners even though they have no goalies?
A: They do.
Q: We do not have all our Medical and Emergency forms signed yet, can we send them later or bring them with us to Registration Night?
A: You can send your application and fees now, and make sure you mail those forms so as to arrive by 5/18 or you can submit them at Registration Night.
Q: My child is underage for a higher division, can he/she play in that division anyway?
A: Players can play in a higher division. Parents need to take into consideration that the higher division matches could be more aggressive and played at a faster pace requiring better skills and
reflexes to avoid any injuries. However, by no means, is a player only allowed to play in a lower
division.
Q: Do Minor Divisions (U-8, U-10, U-12 and U-14 teams) have to pay $400 umpire fee?
A: No, Minor Divisions do not need to pay this fee or list an umpire. Please see the Umpire Information page for a complete list of teams required to pay the umpire deposit.

Q: What are the directions to the tournament site?

Q: Will the organizers provide transportation from the hotel to the fields?
A: Unfortunately, all teams, players and umpires have to secure their own transportation to and from the tournament site. We recommend that you use our forum to network with other people needing transportation.
